Saw a little forest preserve near the Des Plaines river that was about 10 mins away from my work. I got stuck in the office today until about 7, and tonight seemed to be a good night to spend 30 mins checking this place out.
Worked my MO (lately), 1/2oz lipless crank along the shorelines.
To my surprise, I caught a fish. Not just any fish, a decent crappie! 12.5".
Going offshore tomorrow...stay tuned
